Today I finished reading ‘The Devil wears Prada’. I know, I’m a little bit late (it came out in 2003 
) but I never found the time to finish it…and I have to say I LOVED it! I had seen the movie, of course, but reading it is a totally different thing…
As everyone knows, the story’s about a girl (Andrea) with no fashion sense at all who starts working at Runway, the fictional Vogue, as the assistant of Miranda Priestly, the most important person in the fashion industry. The woman’s a bitch, of course, and she makes Andrea’s life impossible, making her mistreat her family and friends. The book ends when Andrea gets fired because she couldn’t stand Miranda anymore and she tells her to ‘aller se faire foutre’.
I really understand her situation, but I think I would really love a job like that! Wouldn’t you?
That’s Andrea, when she’s already let the people in Runway ‘transform’ her.
